GREAT DOORS OPEN IN AFRICA
November 2012 -- Lagos & Abuja, Nigeria
We just returned from beautiful Africa. Twenty (20) nations gathered for the Pan African Convention under the direction of FGBMFI Interim President for Nigeria, Engr. Eghosa Ogedegbe. It was a powerful time of inspiration, training and prayer.
I was privileged to spend some time with His Excellency, President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan. We were thankful to join him on all the major televison networks and to speak blessings to the people of Nigeria. I also was greatly honored to be the main speaker at the President's Sunday Church called "The Villa." Approximately 200 leaders from Nigeria and other African nations were present and God moved on every heart.

"In view of the fact that the current security challenges are enormous, Christian prayers have become a melting point to Nigerian leadership. The Federal Government, with all its efforts to tackle security challenges which have hitherto, threatened the unity of the the Nigerian state, has resorted to prayers for divine intervention."
"At the just concluded Pan-African Convention held in Lekki Pennisula, Lagos, which was an extension of the 60th anniversary of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International (FGBMFI), President Goodluck Jonathan solicited for prayers for the leadership of the country."
"He further enjoined the Fellowship to pray against the plight of the African region, promising that the Nigerian Government would continue to support the spread of the Gospel all around. He noted that this administration would succeed with the support of the Fellowship, adding that the Government is determined to create a peaceful and prosperous society where the rights of the people are protected and the security of lives are guaranteed."
"In a similiar vein, the former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon noted that FGBMFI had the desire to transform the people for the good of the citizens and mankind as a whole by leading men back to God and further lauded the Fellowship for training its Nigerian members on how to contribute towards peaceful transformation of the country into a terorists-free nation."
"Gowon added, 'I was informed that only a few weeks ago, Full Gospel leaders from the nation of Nicaragua visited to undertake training of Nigerian Members on how to contribute towards peacefully transforming Nigeria to be like a terrorists-free nation of Nicaragua through love.'"
